Field Portal Config

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

A Field Profile determines the data input fields in the field data entry form for a Monitoring Round.  Admin Users design and manage Field Profiles in the Field Portal Config.

Field profiles are defined through the selection of Standard Fields and Custom Attributes for Location Visits, Groundwater Data and Sample Data. For Sample Data the Analytes and their units, expected and absolute min and max values can be defined.

The Field Portal Config is available under Application Configuration for Admin Users.

The Standard Field Profile is read only and can be used as a basis to copy and create a custom Field Profile. A hidden Field Profile is no longer selectable for future Monitoring Rounds, note that it will still be retained when used in existing Monitoring Rounds.

Custom Attributes and Groups can be created and managed by Admin Users and made available for selection in a Field Profile.

To make fields visible in the profile select the Column Name and define any further settings such as Default, Description, Values, Required, Oversize, Display Name and Order.

It is optional to include Sample Data in the profile. If selected a Sample Data tab is present for data entry in the Field Portal. An option is available to enable Stabilisation Recording for samples, more details are given here.
