Synching pLog Projects

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

For data from pLog to sync back to ESdat, the pLog Application Settings must be set up correctly.  See pLog Application Settings.

Data will only synch between pLog and ESdat, where both pLog and ESdat have a matching Project ID.

The sync will only try to download data that has been added/edited in pLog since the “Last Update Date”.

If there is already data in pLog, and no matching Project ID in ESdat the following needs to be done:

Create a matching Project ID in ESdat (Site ID doesn’t matter, but create/select a Site for the Project).
Set the  "Last Update Date" in Application Settings to sufficiently far in the past, ie before the project data was added/edited in pLog.
Resync pLog (again, under Application Settings)
