I have a monitoring round that has a sample of type Trip_S. When the round is sent to Plog and I open the Ground Water Monitoring/Water Sample form PLog stops working. There is no error for samples that are of type Normal.

This kind of error happens when a sample type is used that is not registered as valid in PLog. 

To register a water sample type open the PLog Configuration tool on your desktop.

Click on the menu item View/Lists and expand the list "Chemistry Lists".

Select the "List Chemistry Water Sample Type", on the right are the drop down options for water samples. There will be items such as "Normal", "Field_D", "Interlab" etc. Click on the last row to activate and add the new sample type and click Apply.

From the top menu select File/Upload Tablet Configuration to pLog Cloud.

On your tablet sync Plog. You will now be able to view the water sample details on the monitoring round.
