Wondering if we could get some clarity on how or whether ESdat/Plog deals with situations where we have multiple sites for a project, specifically when drilling new locations. Questions include Can you put the same location code for multiple sites? If not, how do we deal with this situation?

PLog won't allow you to create new BH's/Locations with the same Name in the one project, even if they are at different Sites.

ESdat supports the same BH/Location Code being used on different sites that are being used in one Project.  You can create the Locations in ESdat and then send to PLog via a Sampling Plan.

In this scenario we generally recommend you use the "Site Prefix" concept in ESdat which automatically applies a prefix to new locations created through the field portal, and so prevents the same Location Code being used on multiple sites, primarily to avoid users mixing them up when the Locations are sent to PLog.
