New Zealand Defense, PDP, and EarthScience Information Systems jointly presented at the Australian Land and Groundwater Association conference in 2024, on the implementation of ESdat to meet the requirements of the New Zealand Department of Defense.

The New Zealand Department of Defense are custodian of a number of sites which have been the subject of contaminated site investigations.
These investigations are conducted by a number of different consultants, and New Zealand Defense is keen to ensure that all data collected is loaded into their own system and available for further internal or external data analysis and reporting.
The New Zealand Department of Defense implemented ESdat and associated workflows, ensuring that all laboratory and field results were digitally loaded into their ESdat system, quality reviewed, and available for reporting through ESdat as well as internal defense systems such as ArcGIS.
