Main Functional Improvements
ESdat 5.2 focusses on:
- New version of the ESdat Field App
- Support for dynamically calculated Action Levels in the Environmental Standards
- Support for static or calculated Background Concentrations.

Field App
Rebuilt Field App user interface using modern UI standards.
Support for Text in stability readings (eg water color)
Guidance to locate Monitoring Points added.
Integrated ability to scan a container barcode to retrieve sample information (eg Location, Sampled Date/Time, Sampled By)
Background Concentrations
Background Concentrations can be entered for a Site or Monitoring Zone.
Concentrations can be entered as static values, or dynamically calculated from upstream boreholes, historical data, or using a custom formulae.
Concentrations above background can be considered a “non-exceedance” if the background concentration is above an Environmental Standards Action Level.
Environmental Standards
Dynamically Calculated Action Level values can be entered as a formulae which references pH, Hardness, Temperature and other results either from the same lab sample, a linked field sample, or the site background.
Consecutive Exceedances can require an exceedance over multiple weeks / months / quarters.
Dashboard
A whole of dashboard Date filter has been added.
A Chem Table dashboard widget has been added.
Mapping
Additional Label Export options are supported for better ArcGIS presentation.
Chemistry Result Validation
Additional Validation Fields available at the individual Chemistry Result level “Validated By”, “Validated Date” and “Result Pre Validation Adjustment”
Logger Data
Refinements to calculated parameters and additional options to improve usage.
Exports
Ability to exclude chemistry results from exports based on their Qualifier value.
Chem Table
The Chem Table export has an option to export all results as numeric, incorporating a non-detect multiplier.
